Have spent 20 wonderful days at the Cotton Tree Caravan Park with Maree & Paul, Rick & Libby & Stuart & Sue who flew up to the Sunshine Coast and stayed in an apartment just across the road. Fabulous weather and lots of day trips including the Eumundi Market, a trip to The Glass House Mountains, lunch at the Maleny Cheese Factory and so much more. Met up with Harvey & Yvonne as well so it was a great get together and our Happy Hours were quite special. We all got together for the last night with a BBQ that everyone added to, to make it a very memorable time. Heading to Yamba for a couple of nights with Rick & Libby as Maree & Paul sold their caravan and have hired a "U Haul" to get all their gear back so have headed straight home.
Tuesday 1st November Yamba - Coopernook State Forest.
Planning on staying at Coopernook State Forest for 3 days where we have a wonderful spot on what looks to be lawn, have even managed to have a fire to sit around of an evening. Lots of 4WD adventures out of here.
Friday 4th November Coopernook State Forest - Lane Cove
Met up with Glen & Hector for a BBQ at the caravan park and tomorrow we are off to a Spanish Restaurant in Lane Cove for lunch.
Sunday 6th November Lane Cove - Bombala Caravan Park

Sunday 9th October 2016 Kylies Hut - Cotton Tree Caravan Park (Maroochydore)
Up at 6.00am and on the road by 6.30 taking it very slow out the dirt road towards Diamond Head where the corrugations stop and the road is considerably better. Dull morning but no rain so far and plan on doing a big day to get to the other side of Brisbane so that we have an easy day into Maroochydore tomorrow morning. Stuart & Sue arrive at Maroochydore today and Maree & Paul on Wednesday. Morning tea planned for Tyndale but unfortunately the bakery is closed on a Sunday so Barry was a little disappointed not to get his pie. Still a misty and overcast day as we head towards Caboolture CP for the night. St.Helena Tunnel on the Pacific Motorway near Ballina is now finished and was very exciting going thru it for the first time. Have been watching this road being made for some time now so fabulous to see it completed. Stopped at Brunswick Heads for lunch at a little Cafe which was quite lovely and still the day is dull and overcast but now very humid. We continued on to Cotton Tree Caravan Park as it was only an extra 55kms and not worth setting up only to move on again in the morning, so we are now at our destination for the next 20 days.
