Wednesday 5th October 2016 Mungo Brush Camp

Libby and I have gone for a walk along the road and then over to the beach so that we could walk back to where Rick & Barry were fishing.  Unfortunately no fish today at either the ocean or the lake so it is not going to be fish for dinner as hoped.  Still a little windy but a fabulous spot and have decided that we really love the National Park camping, facilities, away from the road, next to the beaches and lakes and good value @ $23 per night.  Happy Hour and then into the caravans and away from all the bugs that invaded us last night.  Watched the movie Florence Jessica Jenkins with Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, really enjoyed it, looking forward to catching up some more movies as Rick has heaps of them on a small USB.

Mungo Brush Camp - Kylies Hut @ Crowdy Bay National Park

Heading to another National Park for a couple of days, this time Diamond Head Campground in the Crowdy Bay National Park between Taree and Port Macquarie.  Glorious day with no clouds, no rain, a little breeze and sunny and warm, into short sleeves and shorts so pretty happy about that.  When we arrived at Diamond Head via Laurieton, it was full because of the school holidays still in NSW so we have gone to Kylies Hut Camp approx. 5kms further down the track.  Great little camp with plenty of room and close to the beach, track was a little rough for the last kilometre or so but it was worth it to get to this beautiful spot.

Kylies Hut @ Crowdy Bay National Park

Went for a nice walk along the spectacular coastline with lots of rocky outcrops and then a lamb roast for dinner and finished the day sitting around the camp fire on a glorious night.
